Gift Wrap Station

I've been wanting to complete this little project for many months, so I decided yesterday that I would make myself a Gift Wrap Station and I just LOVE it! Funny, that it's been in the back of my mind for so long, and it only took a few hours to actually complete {the longest part was waiting for the paint to dry.} Why did I push it off for so long? It feels so great to finally have it done.

This area is located in my craft room closet & is SO much BETTER than before. Just wait, my next post will show you the before & afters of this closet. Also, more Craft Room Organizing Coming SOON - Follow my blog to stay updated. Here is my little Gift Wrap Station:

 Quite a while back, I seen this awesome idea in a

Lowes

catalog & I had to make one.

I changed it up a bit to the way I wanted.

 I painted the peg board black

 and got some inexpensive cafe curtain rods and attached them

{when I want to change the wrapping paper, the rod simply lifts off}

Genius huh? Thanks to Lowes for this great idea!

These awesome

containers

are from Ikea

{they're located in the kitchen organizing department}

 I used pegboard hooks to hang them. They hold my scissors & tape

Aren't they just adorable?

I store larger rolls of wrapping paper & cellophane wrap between the bookcase & the shelf

on the shelves of the bookcase I store:

and

storing larger boxes on the side of the bookcase

These are the boxes that don't fit in the bin.

My curling ribbon

are on a spring loaded curtain rod

extended from one wall of the closet to the other.

{kind of like the way a shower curtain works}

I simply can't wait to wrap a gift in my new gift wrap station.

If the bookcase was a bit deeper {more like a table} it would be absolutely perfect.

That way I could cut a piece of wrapping paper off, and wrap right underneath the peg board.

As I am doing things as inexpensive as possible, I have to use things that I already have.

The bookcase use to be in my

toy closet

and NOW it has a new home.

and I LOVE it!

That's a WRAP folks!

:)
