Make Your Own Star Wall Hooks
I came upon these adorable
little star wall hooks at Rosenberry Rooms
and decided that I wanted to make some for my oldest sons's room.
Delightful Order
Here are the supplies needed (you'll also need 3 hooks, which are not pictured)
I purchased all of the items from Joann Fabrics. Any craft store would have all of this.
I gave the stars and the blocks a couple coats of paint.
and let them dry.
Once the stars were dry. I gave the edges of the stars a touch of black paint.
Then took a piece of sandpaper and lightly rubbed the edges...
... to reveal some of the wood underneath.
I sanded the edges of the three blocks as well.
Here are the pieces all painted, edges roughed and ready to attach the stars.
I glued the stars onto the block of wood with carpenter's wood glue.
then attached a hook to each of the blocks.
It's so easy to create these star wall hooks!
I'm excited to have one project in my son's room complete. Stay tuned to see more of this "world traveler" room. Including a DIY headboard and more... Coming soon.
May you be a little inspired!
UNTIL NEXT TIME,
DaNita
