Boy Room Makeover

Earlier this year, I gave my teenage son’s room a makeover on a small budget.

Before we look at all the after photos, let’s peek at the before photos.

The first thing that I did was paint the bed black with Farmhouse Paint. I love this paint! I always use it when I am refinishing furniture. I highly recommend using it. You can buy it HERE. (*affiliate link)

Paint makes a HUGE difference and if this was my own house, I would have painted the walls in this room too and I would have switched the ceiling light, but since we are renting, that was not an option.

I bought new bedding, pillows, curtains, wall art and accessories for this space. I found two small matching desks for each side of the bed from Hobby Lobby and they work perfectly in this space.
