My Entry Way Makeover
Back in January during my Organizing Challenge, I decided that I wanted to give my Front Entry Way a makeover.
Before we look at all the photos of the space now, let’s first take a look at the before photos.
This is what the space looked like at Christmas time:
I decided that I wanted a piece of furniture that was bigger and had some doors & drawers for more storage. I searched Facebook Marketplace for a while and then found this awesome entry/buffet cabinet:
I loved it! And I was totally ok with a little damage, because I knew that I would be painting this.
I removed the hardware and painted the piece with Farmhouse Paint Black Noir color.
I bought the new mirror, artwork and florals from Hobby Lobby and I switched the lamp out with one that I had in a different place in my house.
I am attaching some links below with similar items to this entire space.
I ordered a new ruggable rug for this space as well.
I scrubbed the existing hardware with a steel wool pad and I was amazed at how well it worked to bring the old hardware back to life. Just look at the difference in the hardware:
Amazing right? I did buy 2 new drawer pulls (it was missing one). I found some that matched pretty closely so I put the new ones on each cabinet door.
I am loving the new look in here. And I am loving the extra storage even more.
